Commerce goes live-adjacent

v2 commerce went from scaffold to a real payments engine this week: Stripe-guarded checkout + webhook + fulfillment, Connect direct charges, deposits and installments, refunds, store credit - and a bridge so legacy v1 invoices can be paid through v2.

You never get to migrate on a clean slate; there is always a year of outstanding balances in the old system. So we wired every web checkout surface onto the new engine behind feature flags - because flipping all of commerce at once is how you end up on the phone with your bank.
